There are various occasions and reasons like honeymoon, family vacation, adventure sports, experience of snow for which tourists come to Shimla. Though occasions are different, almost all of them do some shopping in Shimla in order to collect souvenirs, buy some local handicrafts or collect some items which are specialty of the place. Here is a list of attractive items that you can buy while in Shimla and keep in your collection.

Kulu Cap

Kulu hats are a specialty of Himachal Pradesh and a very unique local product of this area. They are warm and have a simple look suitable for everyday use during winter. They are available in plenty of designs and colors in the government emporium and local markets like Tibetan Market, Lakkar Bazar etc.

Local handicrafts made by wood, metal and woolen are very unique as a souvenir. These items include statues of local landmarks, different god and goddess, decorative items etc
Ethnic Jewellery

Various types of local ethnic jewellery made out of wood, bead and metals attracts the tourists very much. They like to collect them in plenty for personal use and also as a souvenir.
