Transportation

Shimla is at a distance of 370 km (7-8 Hrs drive) from Delhi. One option of reaching Shimla from Delhi is by car and the other option is to get one of the Non AC or AC Volvo buses available during day and Night. Alternately, you can take a train to Kalka and from Kalka to Shimla either via toy train or by road.

For Shimla local sightseeing hire a cab on daily basis or in a package. There are options for half day and full day hires as well as hiring for a standard package. If you are looking for a cheaper option, look for the local sightseeing tours operated by HP tourism in non AC deluxe buses.
