Explore Lava
Day 1:
Lava is a small and quite village 100 kms from Siliguri. The main attraction of Lava is the grand view of the Kanchenjunga Peak. Apart from that, visit the Lava monastery and experience the life of Buddhist Lamas.

Reach Lava and check in to your hotel. After getting fresh, visit the Lava monastery and experience the life of Buddhist Lamas. Rest of the day is free for you to explore the place. Take a walk along the forest full of Oak and Fir trees.
Day 2:
Go for the Jungle Safari at Neora Valley National Park (10 km from Lava). On the way back, visit the Nature Interpretation Center of Neora Valley National Park at Lava. If you still have time, visit the Changey Waterfall at a distance of 12 km from Lava. After the motorable road ends, you need to walk for 20-30 mins to reach the falls.

Transportation
Most efficient way to cover this tour is to hire a car according to the size of your group for the entire duration. This way you will be able to save journey time and
spend more time at the various places. Alternately, you can opt for point to point drop which will be relatively economical. If you are short in budget, then avail the local buses and shared jeeps. In general, public transport is not frequent and most of the time very much over crowded.
